These terms govern your use of the Haven & Hold website and your purchase of our products. By making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

We've written this in plain language because legal documents shouldn't require a law degree to understand. If anything is unclear, contact us.

What You're Purchasing

Haven & Hold sells physical art prints—minimalist quote prints produced on demand and shipped directly to you. When you purchase from us, you receive:

A professionally printed art print on premium paper or canvas
Print produced and fulfilled by our trusted print partner
Shipping and delivery to your specified address
A companion reflection card (where included with your order)

Each print is produced individually when you place your order. This means your print is made fresh for you—not pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Ordering & Fulfillment

How It Works

When you place an order, your print enters production with our fulfillment partner. Here's what to expect:

Production typically takes 2–5 business days
Shipping times vary by location (typically 3–7 business days within the US)
You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed
You'll receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your print ships

Total delivery time is typically 5–12 business days from the date of purchase. International orders may take longer depending on destination and customs processing.

Order Accuracy

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. Double-check your shipping address, print selection, and size. Once an order enters production, changes may not be possible.

Shipping

We ship to addresses within the United States and select international destinations. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Haven & Hold is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs processing, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If your tracking shows delivery but you haven't received your order, please contact the carrier first, then reach out to us if the issue isn't resolved.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Because every print is produced to order specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or color variations between your screen and the printed product.

When We Will Make It Right

We stand behind our products. If your order arrives with any of the following issues, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund:

Damaged during shipping (torn, creased, water damage)
Printing defects (smudges, misalignment, significant color errors)
Wrong item received
Order never arrived (with confirmed tracking showing non-delivery)

Please include a photo of the issue when you contact us—it helps us resolve things quickly and improve our quality control.

How to Request a Resolution

Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if applicable. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days and resolve all issues promptly.

Intellectual Property

All Haven & Hold designs, original quotes, visual elements, branding, and website content are protected by copyright and remain the property of Haven & Hold.

Your purchase grants you a physical print for personal display. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property or grant any reproduction rights.

What Your Purchase Allows

Display your print in any personal space (home, office, bedroom—anywhere you call yours)
Give your print as a gift
Display your print in your therapy practice, counseling office, or wellness space
Frame, mount, or display your print however you choose

What Your Purchase Does Not Allow

Reproducing, scanning, or photographing the print for resale or distribution
Using the print design in any commercial product or publication
Claiming the design as your own original work
Creating derivative products using our designs (mugs, shirts, phone cases, etc.)

Quotes and Attribution

Prints feature original quotes created by Haven & Hold. These remain our intellectual property. If any of our prints feature quotes from historical figures, literary sources, or public domain texts, those quotes are attributed to specific individuals based on attribution reflecting our best research. Haven & Hold creates original typographic designs around these quotes.

Commercial Licensing

If you're interested in using Haven & Hold designs commercially—for products, publications, large-scale reproduction, or resale—we offer commercial licenses on a case-by-case basis.

Therapist & Wellness Professional Use

Many of our customers are therapists, counselors, coaches, and wellness practitioners. Your purchase covers:

Displaying prints in your office or practice space
Using prints as visual aids in sessions (displayed, not reproduced)
Recommending Haven & Hold to clients (thank you!)

Your purchase does not cover:

Reproducing or distributing prints to clients
Including print images in materials you sell or distribute
Using print designs in courses, workbooks, or digital products you create

For professional licensing that includes client distribution or reproduction rights, contact us to discuss commercial licensing options.

Product Quality & Color Accuracy

We work hard to ensure our product photos and previews accurately represent our prints. However, slight variations in color, tone, and appearance are inherent to the printing process and may also result from differences in screen calibration.

These natural variations are not considered defects. If you receive a print with a genuine quality issue, our returns policy above applies.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in USD. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure checkout powered by Shopify.

Prices may change at any time, but any purchase you complete will be honored at the price displayed at checkout.

Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to process your order, fulfill shipping, and deliver your prints. This includes your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information.

We don't sell your data, and we don't spam you. Our full Privacy Policy is available separately and details exactly what we collect and how we use it.

Limitation of Liability

Haven & Hold provides physical prints produced on demand by our fulfillment partners. While we work hard to ensure quality and consistency, we cannot guarantee that every print will be identical to on-screen previews due to the nature of printing and screen display differences.

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of your order, including shipping costs paid. We are not responsible for framing costs, installation expenses, or any other costs you incur after receiving your product.

Disputes

We hope you never need this section. But if a dispute arises:

Contact us first and give us a chance to make things right. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation.
If we can't resolve it, any disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to past customers. Your continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
