What exactly am I purchasing?
You're purchasing museum-quality poster prints — either unframed or professionally framed, ready to hang. Every order is printed on demand by our production partners and shipped directly to you.
What sizes are available?
Each print is available in a range of sizes to fit your space:
- 8×10" — perfect for shelves, small walls, and bathroom spaces
- 11×14" — ideal for nightstands, gallery groupings, and nook walls
- 12×16" and 12×18" — versatile mid-range sizes
- 16×20" — a strong presence without overwhelming a room
- 18×24" and 24×36" — statement pieces for living rooms and bedrooms
Not sure which size? A good rule: hold a piece of paper that size against your wall and step back. You'll know.
What's the difference between framed and unframed?
Unframed poster prints are printed on thick, museum-quality paper with a matte finish. They arrive ready for you to frame however you like — or to hang as-is with poster strips or clips for a minimal look.
Framed prints come in a clean, modern frame with a protective front. They arrive ready to hang — no trips to the frame shop, no guesswork.
What paper do you print on?
Our prints use thick, museum-quality poster paper with a subtle matte finish. Rich blacks, clean whites, and colors that hold true over time. The kind of paper you can feel the quality of when you hold it.
Do the prints come with hanging hardware?
Framed prints include everything you need to hang them. Unframed prints are rolled in a protective tube — you'll want your own frame, clips, or hanging strips.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Because every print is made to order, please allow 2-4 business days for production. After that, standard shipping within the US typically takes 4-7 business days.
You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping may become available in the future — join our newsletter to be the first to know.
My order hasn't arrived yet. What do I do?
First, check your tracking number — sometimes packages sit at a local facility for a day before final delivery.
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, or if it's been more than 14 business days since your order, email us at hello@havenandhold.com. We'll sort it out.
Can I request a custom quote or size?
We love hearing what speaks to our community. While we can't guarantee we'll create every request, we're always gathering ideas for future prints.
Email us at hello@havenandhold.com with your suggestion. If it's a quote we can't include (due to copyright), we'll let you know — and might be able to suggest an alternative.
Using Our Prints
Can I use these in my therapy practice?
Yes. Many of our customers are therapists, counselors, and wellness practitioners. Our prints are designed with therapeutic spaces in mind — they belong in waiting rooms, offices, and session spaces just as much as bedrooms.

Can I give these as gifts?
Absolutely. A framed print makes a thoughtful gift for a friend who's going through something — or for anyone who deserves a wall that holds them gently.
Payments & Returns
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure checkout powered by Shopify.
What's your return policy?
Because our prints are made to order specifically for you, we can't accept returns for change of mind. But we stand behind every piece that leaves our production partners.
If your print arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was shown, email us within 30 days at hello@havenandhold.com with a photo. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund.

The charge doesn't show the business name I expected.
Charges may appear as "Haven & Hold" or "Shopify" on your statement, depending on your bank. If you see a charge you don't recognize around the time you made a purchase, it's likely us.

Haven & Hold is a small, independent operation. Every print is thoughtfully designed with therapeutic depth and literary care — for people who need their space to hold them when the world won't.
How do you choose your quotes?
We choose quotes with intention, drawing from literary sources, therapeutic concepts, and original writing. We look for words that don't just motivate or affirm — but actually hold. Words that acknowledge the complexity of being human.
We avoid clichés, toxic positivity, and empty inspiration. Everything we create is designed for people doing the real work of healing, growing, and simply getting through.
Do you have a physical store?
We're online only. Your prints are produced by professional print partners and shipped directly to your door.
